It came out of the box looking beautiful and refined. When I turned it on I couldn’t hear a thing. I keep it locked in a gun safe w power so it’s not next to my bed or anything, but from my vantage point, with my ear right next to it....it is almost silent. I am very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship, particularly for the price.I think most of the reviews are very accurate and that it’s a very good item at a very good price.I am by no means an expert. I have three automatic watches ranging from Tag Heuer to Oris. I don’t know how somebody would feel about this watch winder if they owned a $15,000 Rolex. But the watch winder seems fine for my purposes.
