He was able to adjust the band to fit his wrist. Only negative is that it is a bit large.My husband has gotten our nephews interested in watches so every birthday we look for a cool watch for them. This one was so popular at one nephew's birthday (although quite big for his wrist) that another nephew asked for the same one in another color for his birthday. I have a feeling we will be buying several of these this next year.Great Watch. Many People say it is a big but it fits it is what it says it is a youth watch and the light works if you listen to the reviews read the 5 star ones many of them will agree with me. Tells you the date and what day it is.Comfortable watch.
